As our project volume grows, we are adding a Superintendent to support our field operations and work in close partnership with a Field Project Manager and leadership team.

The Role

As a Superintendent at Waterton, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of projects in the field. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on production, coordination, safety, and quality.

You will work directly with a Field Project Manager, who provides project oversight and support, while you own the jobsite, crews, and daily execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily field operations on assigned hardscape and outdoor construction projects
  • Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries
  • Execute project plans, schedules, and scopes as directed by the Project Manager
  • Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism at all times
  • Monitor quality and ensure work meets Waterton standards and specifications
  • Identify issues early and communicate proactively with the Project Manager
  • Maintain accurate daily logs, photos, and jobsite documentation
  • Ensure work is completed efficiently, safely, and to plan

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent, Foreman, or Lead in hardscape, civil, sitework, landscaping, or exterior construction
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, crew management, and jobsite logistics
  • Ability to manage multiple scopes and trades on active jobsites
  • Takes pride in running organized, professional, and safe jobsites
  • Works well within a structured PM/Superintendent model
  • Clear communicator who raises issues early and solutions-focused
  • Respected by crews for consistency, fairness, and leadership
  • Comfortable working in the field every day
